Pink Saturday!!

Its Pink Saturday again.. Any of you who read the prevoius post, I am currently busy setting up studio so I really haven't got a lot of crafting done. But I found some pink eye "candy" I really wanted to share. Really!!... these are made from icing sugar...

Marie Antoinette~Qu'ils Mangent de la Brioche

Look at the detail, the ruffles on her dress, the tiny brioche. Isn't it amazing!!

And cookies... I would not want to eat these theyre so pretty!!

If you like what you see here, then you ought to visit Rosey's Flickr Photostream here. Her work is astonishing.

On to something different. Would you guess which actress was wearing this gown and in what movie?? Seriously, I want answers in your comments.

It is a very amazing gown and the large rose bouquets are just gorgeous.

Can you guess this one??

Finally I wanted to wish all mommies out there a wonderful Mother's day tommorrow. I hope you have a grand day filled of everything you love.

How absolutely wonderful! Beverly sure knew what she was doing when she created a place for all of us "pinkies" to congregate and share our "pinkness".

Happy Mother's Day to you. I hope you find yourself surrounded by those you love, good food, and a gentle peace in your ♥. We don't need to be a mother to know a mother's life. After all we all started out with a mom, didn't we?☺

Happy Pink Saturday and Mother's Day Sweet One! OMGosh, the creations from sugar are wonderful. The gowns are beautiful but I don't have a clue. Will look forward to the answers. ♥

Those gowns are gorgeous! I wish I could place them, but I can't, and this from a woman who will watch films only for the costumes...I am ashamed.

The sugar confections were also delightful!

Happy Pink Saturday!
Erin :)

Hi Sonia,

I ran across that lovely vignette on Flickr awhile back and immediately made it one of my "FAVS". It is absolutely amazing. I love the beautiful gown too. Great Pink post.

Have a great weekend.

I know Kirsten Dunst wore the dress from the 1700s, but I have no idea who wore the other one. That sugar vignette is amazing, thanks for finding it to share.

What beautiful confectionary! The dresses have me clueless. The pink one reminds of one that Scarlett wears in Gone With the Wind but I wouldn't bet on it...lol! I'll definately come back for the answer!

Happy Pink Saturday.

Those sugar confections are truly works of art. How beautiful and what talent and time was put into those!!!

As far as the gowns are concerned, I have no idea! I haven't seen many historical period films, but plan to do so in the near future! Those dresses are as much eye "candy" as the candy!

Blessings to you from Kansas,
